Mit meinen Zähnen werde ich
jede Handbreit meiner Heimat schützen,
mit meinen Zähnen.
Nichts wird mir die Heimat ersetzen,
und sollte man mich hängen
an meinen eignen Adersträngen.
Ich bleibe,
Gefangener meiner Liebe
zum Zaun, der mein Haus umgibt,
zum Tau auf der geneigten Lilie.
Ich bleibe,
von jeder Härte unbesiegt.
Ich bleibe
und werde jede Handbreit meiner Heimat schützen
