the rain reads
the leaves
the trees forgot to.
 

~
our shadows
that cannot be reclaimed
from the shadow of the scarecrow
 

~
no butterfly
knows the flower
better than the caterpillar.
 

~
forgetting his head
the dog seeks the body in his tail.
the tail wags the body.
 
 

~
there are no forests in the tales told by the chair.
but they safe keep the roots in their memories.
those roots grow into
them who sit on the chair.
 

~
how often have the trees
wedded silence!
the wedding rings are counted
and accounted for by the woodcutter.
 

~
after waiting without end
the garden flew off
in search of the butterfly.
 
 

~
we are a memory
that drained from some wound,
and when the wound is healed
we cannot return

der Regen liest
die Blätter
die Bäume vergaßen's.

unsere Schatten
die nicht herausgelöst werden können
aus dem Schatten der Vogelscheuche

kein Schmetterling
kennt die Blume
besser als die Raupe.
 
 

~
den Kopf vergessend
sucht der Hund den Körper in seinem Schwanz.
der Schwanz wedelt mit dem Körper.
 
 

~
es gibt keine Wälder in den Geschichten die der Stuhl erzählt.
aber sie behalten die Wurzeln in ihrem Gedächtnis.
diese Wurzeln wachsen in
jene die auf dem Stuhl sitzen.
 
 

~
wie oft haben die Bäume
sich mit der Stille vermählt!
die Hochzeitsringe werden gezählt
und offengelegt vom Holzfäller.
 
 

~
nachdem er wartete ohne Ende 
flog der Garten davon
auf der Suche nach einem Schmetterling.
 
 

~
wir sind eine Erinnerung
die floß aus irgendeiner Wunde,
und wenn die Wunde verheilt ist
können wir nicht zurück
